Within the framework of Avaava’s audits, accessibility is evaluated from the user’s perspective. The auditing always involves a visually impaired accessibility expert with daily experience in the use of screen reader software. Audit findings are documented clearly using examples. The customer is provided with specific improvement suggestions making it easy to translate the audit results into practical procedures. The audit includes a consultative feedback session where accessibility problems can be reviewed together with, for example, the product or service owner and the development team or external system supplier. If necessary, in connection with the audit report, Avaava will also draw up an accessibility review.
