AgeMan agesuit

Avaava sells and imports the AgeMan agesuit developed by the Meyer-Hentschel Institute. It gives the user an impression of the various physical limitations brought about by old age.

The agesuit is intended for professionals involved in the design of environments and products for the elderly, as well as for nursing staff, for example.

The agesuit restricts movement of the joints. In addition, 22kg of added weight results in movement patterns typical for the elderly.

Hearing protectors simulate moderate hearing loss typically related to ageing.

The visor is used to demonstrate the altered colour vision, impaired visual acuity, and increased glare sensitivity characteristic to senior citizens.
